Brasserie, bistro, pub
In France, a brasserie is a café doubling as a restaurant and serving
single dishes and other meals in a relaxed setting. A bistro is a familiar
name for a café serving moderately priced simple meals in an unpretentious
setting, especially in Paris; bistros have become increasingly popular
with tourists. Mainly in the UK and other countries influenced by British
culture, the pub (short for public house) today serves a similar dual
menu, offering beer and other alcohol along with basic food fare.
Traditionally, pubs were primarily drinking establishments, whereas the
modern pub business relies on food as well, to the point where gastropubs
are known for their high-quality "pub food".
Restaurant chains
A restaurant chain is a set of related restaurants, usually with the same
name in many different locations either under shared corporate ownership
(e.g., In-N-Out Burgers in the U.S.) or franchising agreements. Typically,
the restaurants within a chain are built to a standard format and offer a
standard menu. Fast food restaurants are the most common, but there are
also midscale upscale establishments (Applebee's, T.G.I. Friday's, Ruby
Tuesday, Olive Garden etc.). Restaurant chains are often found near
shopping malls and tourist areas.
A drive-through, drive-thru is a business, most commonly
a restaurant, that serves customers who pull up in their vehicles. Orders
are taken and goods or services are provided using a window or microphone,
while the customers remain in their vehicles. The format was first
pioneered in the United States in the 1940s but has since spread
worldwide.
Greasy spoon is a colloquial term used for archetypal
working class eateries. In America such establishments are generally known
as diners. The name "greasy spoon" is used to imply a less than rigorous
approach to hygiene and dishwashing, and appears to date from 1925.
Cuisines of the Americas are based on the cuisines of the countries from
which the immigrant peoples came, primarily Europe. However, the
traditional European cuisine has been adapted to a greater or lesser
degree and many local ingredients and techniques have been added to the
tradition.
Culinary art is the art of cooking. The word "culinary" is defined
as something related to, or connected with cooking or kitchens. A
culinarian is a person working in the culinary arts. A culinarian
is commonly known as a cook or a chef. Culinary artists are
responsible for skillfully preparing meals that are as pleasing to
the palate as to the eye. They work primarily in restaurants, fast
food franchises, delicatessens, hospitals and other institutions
and corporations. Kitchen conditions vary depending on the type of
business, restaurant, nursing home etc.
The 'culinary arts profession is made up of people who work either
directly or indirectly in the preparation and service of food items in the
public or private sector. They work in a range of establishments
including, but not limited to hotels, full-service restaurants, private
clubs, corporate dining, institutional catering, caterers, and home meal
replacement (carry-out). With the increased demands of the consumers for
nutrition, quality, sophistication in all parts of the culinary industry,
today's culinary professional needs to be well trained and prepared to
meet the consumers demands.

Reviews: Very Mixed.
This one reminds us of reviews for French Restaurants. Some people
love it and find the experience al lot of fun - romantic. On the
other hand some people seem to dislike the high cost for what they
get - the food - and even find the experience something to be
desired. Many people say the train is too slow and wobbly
while eating. Many say the food is pretty good but some say too
expensive. Others love the food and find the price fine.
