Deer Park
Located east of St. Helena, off Deer Park Road, site of St. Helena Hospital.
Homes hidden among trees. Hilly. Population 1,825. Short drive to Valley floor.
Angwin
Hamlet in the hills off Howell Mountain Road. Population 3,503, many of them
students of Pacific Union College - the great influence in town.
A place for the young at heart and just plain young. About 61% of Angwin is
under age 30. Many enjoy the parks, tennis courts, and the few shops and offices
in the plaza. Homes tucked away amongst trees and shrubs. There is a landing
strip nearby.
Angwin has one elementary school. Ranking bounces all over, but some in the 70th
and 90th percentile.
Angwin sits on a mesa. Drive a bit and down you go. Angwin has the air of a
mountain village.
